JINS PC announces collaboration glasses with "Attack on Titan": Eren, Levi and 4 other models

JINS has announced a special package (4,990 yen) featuring a collaboration between its JINS PC and the popular anime series "Attack on Titan." Pre-orders began on December 9th, with limited quantities available. There are four designs available. Four models are available, featuring the main characters Eren, Levi, Mikasa, and Hange. Each model comes with a frame and color that matches the character. Each model comes with a large, 2L-sized bromide featuring an original illustration of the character wearing the glasses and a clear bookmark. Lens changes are available for an additional 5,990 yen for prescription JINS PC lenses and an additional 2,000 yen for prescription lenses. Pre-orders are currently being accepted at the JINS online shop, Animate, Movic Online Store, and other locations. Products are scheduled to ship in late February 2014, with release dates scheduled for March 2014. Pre-orders and general release will not be available at JINS stores.

"Attack on Titan" is a boys' manga by manga artist Hajime Isayama currently being serialized in "Bessatsu Shonen Magazine" (Kodansha). The total number of published volumes has now exceeded 28 million, and the work has become a hot topic, with an anime TV series airing from April to September 2013. A live-action movie is scheduled for release in 2015. Set in a closed world, the story depicts the battle between the humans who resist the overwhelmingly powerful Titans, and won the 35th Kodansha Manga Award in the boys' category in 2011.
