The "Mint Designs Doll Festival," an event featuring the "doll motif" that is the brand icon of "mintdesigns," will be held at the TOKYO Kaihoku on the second floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Main Building from December 18th until the 31st.
The event will feature a lineup of new items from the 2014 Pre-Spring Collection, including doll-motif cut-and-sew tops and dresses. The popular "Scissors Accessory Series" will also be reissued.
In addition to accessories perfect for Christmas gifts, the event will also feature lifestyle goods such as towels and blankets. In addition to apparel, the collection will include items useful in the home and everyday life.
Mint Designs is currently holding the "Happy People" exhibition at the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa, as the third installment of its "Philosophical Fashion" series. The exhibition will feature carefully selected clothes from the archives styled on people living in Kanazawa and Tokyo, and will feature photographs taken in familiar locations such as offices, stores, and studios, making it an experimental exhibition aimed at incorporating Mint Designs' clothing into everyday life.
