The Tambour Horizon Light Up retains many of the Maison's iconic design codes within a completely reimagined form.
Louis Vuitton has adapted the unique silhouette and drum-shaped case of the original Tambour watch for the Tambour Horizon Light Up connected watch. Like all mechanical timepieces, it is meticulously hand-finished.
The first impression of the watch is made by its beautifully designed and intricately engineered sapphire crystal. The gently curved glass that serves as the watch's screen appears to spill over the edges of the watch, like an infinity pool merging into the distant horizon. This effect also makes the 44mm case appear smaller on the wrist.
Along the smooth edge of the watch, 24 LED lights shine brightly from behind a ring featuring Louis Vuitton's signature Monogram. When the watch is turned on or a notification is received, the lights illuminate in a kaleidoscope of color, creating exquisitely beautiful and captivating glow-in-the-dark animations.
The Tambour Horizon Light Up is available in three versions: polished steel, matte black, and matte brown. The matte brown color references one of the iconic codes from the Maison's history. Both the matte black and matte brown models feature a high-end PVD coating. The matte black contrasts strikingly with the titanium used for the crown and horns.

Start with customizing the dial. This third-generation model features an always-on display that can be easily customized to suit your mood, style, or occasion. The Tambour Horizon Light Up comes with eight different watch faces, including one featuring the Maison's adorable mascot, Vivienne, and one featuring animated stripes reminiscent of the Maison's iconic trunks from its early days. Each face reflects Louis Vuitton's timeless design codes and travel spirit, and can be customized with a wide variety of colorful options, including 11 bold gradients. Customers can also choose their favorite colors and fonts and add their own initials. When activated, the watch face sparkles with LED animations to match the customized design, expressing the wearer's unique personality.
Throughout the year, Louis Vuitton continuously develops dial designs themed around various collaborations, seasonal events, fashion shows, holidays, Lunar New Year, Valentine's Day and other important occasions. The personalization story of the Tambour Horizon Light Up is never-ending.
A Unique Operating System
At the heart of this artistic and energetic watch is a new operating system custom-designed by Louis Vuitton. Developed to offer a highly intuitive experience, it seamlessly integrates into the user's world. A simple swipe system reveals the OS's functions on the screen. Swipe right to access "My Day," which displays your agenda, weather information, steps, heart rate, and even airflow index. Swipe down for notifications, and swipe up to access the control panel, where you can control everything from timers and alarms to music and Alipay. Swipe left to access "My Travel," which includes trip planning, boarding passes, and Louis Vuitton's curated city guides for 30 cities. The Tambour Horizon Light Up's operating system is highly sophisticated, and it's the first watch outside the Apple ecosystem to receive MFi (Made for iPhone) certification, ensuring compatibility with iPhones. The watch is also compatible with Android and Harmony OS smartphones.
Technology that Lights Up Your Life
The Tambour Horizon Light Up is notable for its form, personalization options, and colorful animations. But it's also a technologically advanced device, delivering the impressive specifications Louis Vuitton customers have come to expect from a luxury connected watch.
The watch's internal hardware includes the ultra-fast Snapdragon Wear 4100 processor and a new heart rate monitor.
The watch also boasts an average battery life of approximately one day and can be switched between four modes to suit your needs and usage. Blossom, Explorer, Submarine, and Saver modes allow you to adjust the watch's animations via a slider to match your mood and rhythm. The watch is also water resistant to 30 meters.
The Tambour Horizon Light Up is also the first Louis Vuitton connected watch to feature pushers on both sides of the crown, further enhancing the watch's functionality. Scrolling the crown changes the watch face, and pressing the top pusher activates the watch face shuffle mode and settings.
