Gas as Interface will release "GASBOOK 28 YOSHIROTTEN," a collection of works by Yoshirotten, a graphic/art designer active both in Japan and abroad, on December 12th. To commemorate this, Yoshirotten's second solo exhibition in two years, "PUDDLE," will be held from the 13th. It will run until the 29th at CALM & PUNK GALLERY in Nishi-Azabu, Tokyo. *The exhibition has been extended from January 7th to January 13th, 2014 (Editor's note added on January 8th). Yoshirotten was born in 1983. Although based in Tokyo, he has clients all over the world, including New York, Berlin, and Sydney. His main work includes the interior design of New York's ACE HOTEL, product planning and collaborative design with JAXA, as well as artwork and designs for fashion brands such as OPENING CELEMONY, JOHN LAWRENCE SULLIVAN, INSIGHT, UT, SILAS, and AMBUSH. He has also provided hundreds of artworks for music-related artists such as BOYS NOIZE, m-fro, and Mr. Children. The book contains a selection of his works from the past five years, priced at 3,675 yen (tentative price). The PUDDLE exhibition will feature new artwork and archive works, and the book will also be available for purchase.
