The 36th Mode in France exhibition, showcasing French brands, will be held at the Hilton Tokyo from January 15th to January 17th.

The exhibition will feature 60 brands showcasing their 2014-15 Autumn/Winter collections, including women's wear, leather, fur, and accessories. This year, two brands created by Japanese creators for the first time will be featured: Tsunoda and Miki Miary. Tsunoda is a feminine brand that uses organic and natural materials with embroidery and baroque motifs. It is sold at Tomorrowland and ESTNATION. Miki Miary was founded in 1992 and has a street-level store in North Marais, presenting chic and elegant collections.

Other brands in the lineup include Ballerina, which makes foldable leather ballet shoes and is making its first appearance at the exhibition; Deux, a beachwear brand by Dorothée Golonescle, who has worked for Christian Lacroix and Sonia Rykiel; and Douce Gloire, a cashmere shawl brand.

There will also be a wide selection of leather and fur brands for the fall and winter season. 12 brands will be on display, including "Oakwood," which is distributed in over 4,000 stores in Europe, "Giorgio," which mixes various leathers with lambskin, and "Yves Salomon," which offers mink and astrakhan fur items.

The event will also feature the "Collection Française," an accessories exhibition.
