A pattern by British designer Giles Deacon was made available on SHOWstudio, a fashion website run by world-renowned fashion photographer Nick Knight, on the 18th.

The pattern released is a silk dress titled "The Troubadour" from Giles Deacon's 2007-08 Fall/Winter collection. It features puff sleeves and paneled details at the sides. The pattern can be downloaded as a PDF. It is a scan of the actual dress used, and the notches and needle marks remain vividly visible. The page also includes a fashion film shot by Nick Knight featuring a model wearing the dress.

SHOWstudio has been running a project called "Design Download" since 2002, which allows users to download patterns from designer brands, and it is possible to access patterns from brands such as Alexander McQueen, Yohji Yamamoto, John Galliano, Martin Margiera, and Junya Watanabe.
