B:MING LIFE STORE by BEAMS, a family-oriented brand from BEAMS, has announced the release of the "Marunaka Father's Bag" (¥12,600), a tote bag in collaboration with director Kankuro Kudo's new film "Chugakusei Maruyama."

The bag was designed to be carried by the mysterious single father played by Tsuyoshi Kusanagi. Miyado, a father himself, collaborated with Daisuke Iga, who handled the film's styling, to create the bag. The bag is made of sturdy canvas to prevent it from tipping over even when placed at your feet with a heavy load. The interior features a water bottle holder and pockets for separating children's toys. The body color is a gender-neutral navy, and the handles and details feature the theme colors of "Chugakusei Maruyama."

"Chugakusei Maruyama" marks Miyado's first film as a director in four years. Hiraoka Takuma plays Maruyama Katsuya, a second-year junior high school student living in an apartment complex. He works hard at "self-training" to improve his flexibility in order to achieve a certain goal, but when he bends his back to his limit, he begins to trip into a world of delusion. When a murder occurs near the apartment complex, Maruyama becomes obsessed with the delusion that Shimoi Tatsuo (Kusanagi Tsuyoshi), a single father who has moved into the apartment above him, is a hitman. The film will be released nationwide from the 18th.
