Men's Egg ceases publication, ending 14 years of history as a men's gal magazine

Oct 8, 2013

Taiyo Tosho will cease publication of its gal men's magazine "men's egg" with the November issue, on sale on the 12th.

The magazine's official website posted a special feature today, the 8th, titled "[Shocking!] men's egg to cease publication in the next issue! Reports are arriving one after another from reader models!" Along with the cover of the final issue, tweets from reader models who have appeared in the magazine until now, including Uetake Taku, are posted. The November issue will feature all of the main models.

The magazine was launched in 1999 as the male version of the gal magazine "egg." It has introduced gal men's culture along with men's brands such as "JACK ROSE," "Buffalo Bobs," and "VANQUISH."
