Beautiful People presented its 2014 Spring/Summer collection at Yoyogi Village on the 17th. The designer was Kumakiri Hidenori, and the theme was "The beautiful people."

Models appeared close together, chatting and strolling down the runway, smoking cigarettes and maintaining a relaxed atmosphere throughout. The pieces presented in response were elegant and serene. Well-tailored basic pieces, including dresses, blouses, shawl collar jackets, and double-breasted suits, were presented in solid colors such as gray, off-white, and black, inspired by Kumakiri's monochrome photographs, as well as leopard and check patterns.

The materials used were linen and silk, creating a light and refreshing feel. The sheer black suits and dresses featured lace facings, creating a light yet elegant look. "I aimed for the free feeling of the Rolling Stones and the Beatles. I created a relaxed and light atmosphere, but the tailoring was neatly put together," says Kumakiri.
