It has been announced that fashion designer Junko Koshino has officially joined BiS, a group known for their unconventional performances.

Koshino secretly participated in the auditions to select the members. She was selected thanks to her overwhelming presence.

The new BiS, with Koshino joining them, will be performing at HOT DENPO FESTIVAL 2013, held at Futako Tamagawa Rise Galleria on Telegram Day, November 5th. The event will celebrate the release of "Artlux," a clutch bag-style telegram designed by Koshino. BiS will perform their new song "Koi Suru Denpo JAPAN" wearing new costumes designed by Koshino. The event will also feature a speech by Koshino, a talk session about telegrams with BiS and Koshino, and a handshake session. Atlas is a telegram that arrives inside a gold-trimmed clutch bag inspired by a design Koshino presented at Paris Fashion Week, with the message of the telegram set inside a cardboard insert. After receiving the bag, it can be used as a fashion bag to store a smartphone, documents, and other items. BiS, an idol group whose name means "Brand-new idol Society," debuted in March 2011 with the album "Brand-new idol Society." They have attracted attention for their avant-garde visuals and behavior, which are hard to believe are idols, such as a 24-hour live concert and a music video in which they run naked through a sea of trees. Mitchell, also known as Rio Michibayashi, left the group in September of this year, and the group had been operating as a five-member group until Koshino joined, bringing the group to six.
