Chrome Hearts partners with cutting-edge cashmere brand

Apr 3, 2014

Accessory brand Chrome Hearts and cashmere brand The Elder Statesman have announced a partnership.

Founded in 2007 by Greg Chait, The Elder Statesman is a lifestyle brand based in Los Angeles, USA. The brand spins and dyes high-quality cashmere sourced from around the world in-house, producing a wide range of items including clothing, accessories, and home wear.

The Elder Statesman and Chrome Hearts had been in contact since before Chait founded the brand, and the two companies' shared vision for each other's creations and product distribution led to the partnership. In 2012, Chait won the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Award for the development of young designers, and since then he has participated in a mentorship program with Chrome Hearts CEOs Richard Stark and Laurie Lynn Stark, with the two planning to collaborate and expand their business.
