SO-CAL LINK OMOTESANDO, a new commercial facility that mixes West Coast fashion and culture, will open in Omotesando in May.
The name "SO-CAL" means "SOUTH CALIFORNIA." It represents the linking (LINK) of West Coast lifestyle, fashion, and food to create new trends from Omotesando.
The four stores to be featured are Planet Blue World, a select shop proposing high-quality California lifestyle; Rebecca Minkoff, a contemporary New York brand offering West Coast fashion and accessories; Suki, a natural cosmetics brand that has been selected as a gift at the Academy Awards and Grammy Awards; and Urth Caffe, an organic coffee cafe from Los Angeles. The facility is being produced by Planet Blue Japan in collaboration with Transit General Office, which also produces spots such as the restaurant "Bills" and the chocolate brand "Max Brenner." The grand opening is scheduled for May 16, 2014.
