JINS has announced a special package (4,900 yen) in collaboration with the popular anime series "Kuroko's Basketball." Pre-orders will begin on April 9th, with limited quantities available. There are six designs available. "Kuroko's Basketball" is a boys' manga about high school basketball that has been serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) since 2009. The series' unique characters, their competitive scenes, and their personal stories of growth have made it popular, with over 25 million copies of the manga in circulation. The second season of the anime began airing in October 2013. The frame of the collaboration model between "JINS PC" and "Kuroko's Basketball" features the uniform colors of the high schools where the talented players, known as the "Generation of Miracles," belong. The temple ends feature metal parts with the school emblem of each school. A limited number of A5-sized original clear sheets are also included as a bonus. To change the lenses, it will cost an additional 6,000 yen for prescription JINS PC lenses, or an additional 2,000 yen for prescription-only lenses.
Pre-orders will be accepted through the JINS collaboration model specialty site "JINS Collaboration Channel", which opened on April 7th, or through Premium Bandai. General release is scheduled for early June 2014.
