Gallery Koko's first exhibition in two years features the notable unit "Nerhol"

Apr 15, 2014

Gallery Koko, founded by a public relations officer and editor at Staff International Japan, will hold its first exhibition in approximately two years, "Tries to Return," from April 22nd.
The exhibition features the artist duo Nerhol, consisting of Yoshihisa Tanaka and Ryuta Iida. Approximately six new works will be on display. While Nerhol has primarily focused on portraits up until now, this time they have chosen new motifs, such as water spilling from a bottle, flames burning on a kerosene stove, and water boiling in a gas kitchen.
This exhibition marks the gallery's fifth project, following the group exhibitions "NEW YORK The Loudest," Keiichiro Shibuya's "MASSIVE LIFE FLOW," Takashi Homma's "Seeing Itself," and Charlie Koolhaas's "Metabolism Trip."
