Belgian Royal Warrant Bag Maker Delvaux Opens Limited-Time Shop at Hankyu Umeda

Apr 4, 2014

DELVAUX, the bag brand patronized by the Belgian royal family, will open a limited-time shop at Kotokoto Stage 11 on the first floor of the Hankyu Umeda Main Store from April 16th to 22nd. Founded in 1829, this long-established luxury leather goods brand established its Japan subsidiary in January of this year. This will be its first limited-time shop. The shop will carry the largest collection of its kind in Japan, including the classic "Brillant," "Madame," and "Simplicime." The store will also recreate the world of "Madame Delvaux Boudouin," a manga by Belgian illustrator Valentine de Corté. The charming Madame Delvaux will be depicted on furniture, displays, 3D paintings, and more. The Hankyu Umeda Main Store will also be selling a limited-edition "Cherry Blossom" bag, featuring Valentine's illustrations of Madame Delvaux. Only 100 units will be released, priced at 80,000 yen.
