Topshop will release its Spring/Summer 2014 collection in collaboration with supermodel Kate Moss on April 30th. The collaboration between the two brands began in 2007 and continued until 2010, drawing much attention with lines in various countries. This time, this legendary collaboration will be reunited after a four-year hiatus. Kate herself was involved in every step of the process, from concept creation to material selection, and the collection is designed and constructed based on her own wardrobe. As she says, "I added a lot of things I love," the collection incorporates Kate's iconic style and reinterprets vintage pieces. Embroidered tops, vintage-inspired silk blouses, white kaftans, and handmade Aztec-print dresses are inspired by Spain's Balearic Islands. Kate's signature styles are also featured, including a floral pajama dress, a suede waistcoat, and a blue fringed jacket. The lineup also includes formal pieces, such as cocktail dresses adorned with fringe sequins, tuxedos, and metallic glitter dresses. This more premium collection also features carefully selected materials, including silk chiffon, Italian gold glitter, and Indian lace. Regarding the collaboration, Kate said, "Since my first collection in 2007, I've grown as a person, and the clothes I wanted to wear have naturally changed. I feel like I've learned a lot from my previous collaborations, and I gained so much from them, so this time around, it wasn't a struggle at all. My goal was to create timeless pieces that can be worn again and again. I hear people are still buying my first collection online, so my collections have a long lifespan." The "Kate Moss for TOPSHOP SPRING SUMMER 2014 COLLECTION" will be available in 40 countries worldwide. It will be available at Topshop stores nationwide, the official online store, online select shop Net-a-Porter (Net-a-Porter.com), and Nordstrom stores and online. In Japan, the products will be sold at TOPSHOP/TOPMAN stores as well as Zozotown and Lavu.
