French young chef JACQUEMUS holds ice cream event at Dover Ginza

JACQUEMUS, the brand created by Simon Porte Jacquemus, will be holding an event on the 6th floor of DOVER STREET MARKET GINZA from April 26th to May 22nd. The venue will showcase the brand's 2014 Spring/Summer collection, inspired by La Grande Motte, a beach resort in southern France popular with the working class. Limited-edition special T-shirts and the world premiere of the photo book "JACQUEMUS LA GRANDE MOTTE" will also be on sale. On the first day of the event, the 26th, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Jacquemus himself will be offering ice cream, the motif of this season, to attendees. Jacquemus founded his own brand in 2011 after studying fashion under stylist Benoit Bethume for six months. His collections are themed around "factories," "hospital colors," and "marches," and feature minimalist, masculine silhouettes. He was selected as one of the 12 finalists for the Young Fashion Designer Award sponsored by LVMH.
