mame will be holding a pop-up showcasing its Spring/Summer 2017 collection from May 3rd to 9th at the Center Park/Promotion area on the 3rd floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Main Building.

For the collection, designer Maiko Kurokawa drew inspiration from a passage in Mariko Asabuki's novel "TIMELESS," superimposing her own memories onto it, and from Ishiuchi Miyako's photographs of dresses, shoes, cosmetics, and other items left behind by Mexican painter Frida Kahlo.

In addition to the collection, the pop-up will also feature exclusive items perfect for the upcoming season, such as a dress made from geometric cotton lace, a T-shirt embroidered with a wisteria motif in a vibrant color palette, and a tulle lace dress and blouse embroidered with botanical motifs in colors exclusive to Isetan Mitsukoshi.
