Stüssy to host exhibition focusing on five San Francisco-based artists

May 26, 2017

Stussy will be holding a group exhibition, "New Old San Francisco," at SO1 gallery in Harajuku, Tokyo, from May 27th to June 4th, focusing on five artists active in San Francisco.

The exhibition features Chris Lux, who primarily creates paintings and sculptures; Panda Sex, whose stories are told through graffiti and his powerful style; Justin Alexis, whose works require a wide perspective and experience; Andrea Sonnenberg, also known as Teenwitch, who captures the everyday life of San Francisco with kindness and excitement; and Ray Potes, whose black-and-white photography is centered around the photo magazine Hamburger Eyes. The exhibition will allow viewers to sense each artist's unique worldview, as well as a shared atmosphere.
