The fourth installment of Repetto's 70th anniversary project is a collaboration with the Belgian artist duo Mozart

May 27, 2017

To celebrate the brand's 70th anniversary, Repetto will be releasing a collaboration item with Belgian artist duo Mosaert starting May 27th.

The items will be part of Mosaert's Spring/Summer 2017 capsule collection. Mosaert's unisex designs and graphic prints, a specialty of Repetto, are combined with Repetto's distinctive stitch-and-return construction (sewn and then turned inside out), resulting in a new collection that fuses the best of both worlds.

Inspired by the flamingo's posture, which resembles a ballet position, the design features flamingos and tropical plants as motifs. The design is also influenced by Japanese hanging scrolls and fabrics, with a color palette reminiscent of the work of French painter Edgar Degas.

The lineup includes opera shoes (2 types, 58,000 yen each), each carefully crafted with a heel that is connected to the main body and wrapped in fabric, creating a classic yet modern look, T-shirts (2 types, 19,000 yen each), jackets (68,000 yen), and socks (3 types, 4,000 yen each), all for women.

Please note that these items are only available at the Ginza flagship store and the official online store.
