Versace is releasing a limited edition bag collection from its "Palazzo Empire" series, paying homage to seven cities.

The limited edition "Palazzo Empire" bags are inspired by seven cities: Beijing, Paris, Hong Kong, Milan, New York, Sao Paulo, and Tokyo. To celebrate the release of these bags, Versace held a global contest called "Seven Bags For Seven Cities." They solicited photos of scenery and architecture from each of the seven cities, and from all the submitted photos, the design team at the Milan headquarters selected one photo for each city. The bags released this time are limited edition models featuring these selected photos, and are sold exclusively in each city.

The Tokyo edition "Palazzo Empire" bags have been on sale at the Versace Ginza store since September 12th.
