Photographer Masumi Ishida, who just entered university this spring, will hold his first solo exhibition, "GINGER ALE," from May 12th to 17th at Omotesando ROCKET in Omotesando, Tokyo.
Heralded as a portrait of the millennial generation, Masumi Ishida attracted attention as a photographer while still a high school student. The exhibition will feature approximately 160 photographs that Ishida, who has now finished high school, describes as "everything he has ever done" as a record of his life. Postcards will also be available for purchase.
The self-taught photographer captures innocent, nostalgic images of classmates, friends he met through social media, and everyday scenes, creating a sense of Ishida's potential.
