On January 30th (local time), the 22nd Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards ceremony was held in Los Angeles, and stars dressed to the nines gathered on the red carpet. Brie Larson, winner of Best Actress for "Room," had just returned from Australia and wore her dress just two hours before the ceremony. The pale blue dress, featuring elaborate details such as a twisted neckline and a deep slit, is from Atelier Versace's Spring/Summer 2016 collection. Alicia Vikander ("The Danish Girl"), winner of Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture, wore a metallic color-block dress by Louis Vuitton, which matched her skin tone well.

Saoirse Ronan, nominated for Best Actress for her role in "Brooklyn," looked elegant in a pastel pink dress by Michael Kors.

Rooney Mara (Carol), nominated for Best Supporting Actress, wore a black Valentino dress with a plunging neckline, while fellow Best Supporting Actress nominee Rachel McAdams (Spotlight) wore a floral see-through dress by Elie Saab, diamond earrings and ring by Harry Kotlar, and a diamond ring by Le Vian, estimated to be worth over $1 million.

The 88th Academy Awards, the biggest event that concludes the film awards season, will be held on February 28th (local time). Anticipation is building to see what kind of outfits the stars will show off.
