The latest season of HEAVEN BY MARC JACOBS features a collection by Brooklyn-based designer Ava Nirui. Marc Jacobs was drawn to Ava's unique and playful style, discovering her talent and sharing a mutual passion for DIY-inspired pieces. And this shared idea of "customization" is central to our Dr. Martens collaboration.
Nearly 30 years ago, when Dr. Martens boots first appeared on the MARC JACOBS runway in 1993, both brands have shared a rebellious spirit. Now, reunited with HEAVEN BY MARC JACOBS, the collaborative collection captures '90s nostalgia, adolescent emotion, and self-expression, celebrating freethinkers and inspirational figures of a new era.
The Audrick 8i HMJ Croc boot and Audrick3i HMJ Croc shoe reflect an even more empowered spirit of self-expression. The new 1.9-inch quad Neoteric sole is lightweight despite the rugged silhouette, and the SoftWair insole inside provides a comfortable fit. This innovative new outsole will be unveiled for the first time in this collaboration. The upper is made of Vibrance Croco leather, and both the boot and shoe are accented with daisy-shaped eyelets and a HEAVEN BY MARC JACOBS double-headed bear lace charm. Extra-long laces allow for styling that wraps around the ankle, and the shoe is finished with Dr. Martens' iconic black and yellow heel loop and welt stitching. Available from September 9, 2021.
