Prada's Spring/Summer 2016 Campaign: A fleeting glimpse of fragility in three models

Feb 2, 2016

Prada has unveiled its Spring/Summer 2016 women's collection advertising campaign. The collection is at once conservative and eccentric, blending opposing elements—tradition and modernity, femininity and masculinity. Photographed by Steven Meisel, the campaign deconstructs and resurfaces the past, reimagining it in a contemporary way to express the constant pursuit of evolution. The imperfect elegance and relaxed femininity of the three models—Sasha Pivovarova, Natalia Vodianova, and Yasmin Wijnaldum—highlight the collection's rebellious, chic, and unconventional nature. Subversive tailoring and surreal accessories are innovative yet also express Prada's unconventional aesthetic.
