Two related apps are available for the exhibition "MIYAKE ISSEY: The Work of Miyake Issey," running from March 16 to June 13 at the National Art Center, Tokyo in Roppongi, Tokyo. These apps, featuring exhibition flyers, are available for smartphone and tablet use during the exhibition period. The "Tidou App" is an interactive, shared information sharing tool that utilizes AR functionality. When you hold the app over the flyer, a mysterious three-dimensional object depicted in the center of the flyer begins to move, allowing you to take photos with it. Meanwhile, the "MIYAKE ISSEY Exhibition: Audio Guide" app features guest host Peter Barakan's easy-to-understand explanations of 20 carefully selected works from the exhibition. The app includes stories about the clothes, which were born from the idea that "clothing is a piece of fabric that wraps around the body." The 18-minute app costs 500 yen (tax included) to download. If you show the downloaded app screen at the museum entrance counter, you will also receive an original sticker from the exhibition.
