Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Tokyo (MBFWT) and Art Fair Tokyo have signed a collaborative partnership agreement. The two organizations are collaborating due to the fact that MBFWT 2013-14 A/W will be held from March 17th to 23rd, and Art Fair Tokyo 2013 will be held from March 21st to 24th. To fuse fashion and art, writtenafterwards, a brand that participated in the previous MBFWT, will exhibit at Art Fair Tokyo 2013 as part of the MBFWT program. An event will be held at Mercedes-Benz Connection, the official MBFWT venue, in conjunction with Roppongi Art Night on March 23rd. Art Fair Tokyo will celebrate its eighth anniversary this spring. Last November, the organization participated in TRANS ARTS TOKYO, held at the former Tokyo Denki University, as a 2013 pre-event, "Art Fair Tokyo Lab #001." An exhibition of "coconogacco," led by writtenafterwards designer Yoshikazu Yamagata, was held.
