Van Cleef & Arpels launches a new, graphic jewelry collection featuring connected circles

May 25, 2016

Van Cleef & Arpels is launching its new jewelry collection, "Bouton d'Or."

Inspired by the curves of the "paillette" (sequin) jewelry motif, created by the Maison in the late 1930s, the collection is crafted with diamonds, gold, mother-of-pearl, and beautifully colored hard stones, woven together using the Maison's unparalleled craftsmanship to create bold pieces.

The collection includes two sets of five pieces, each featuring a necklace featuring a series of sequins set with a diamond at the center that hugs the décolleté, a slightly asymmetrical bracelet, dancing earrings, a three-dimensional ring, and a glamorous pendant. The sets are available in two finishes: one in which pink gold embraces the delicate luster of mother-of-pearl and the warm color of carnelian, a symbol of life; and one in yellow gold, highlighting the combination of the deep, lustrous black of onyx and the green of chrysoprase.
