"The Color Eater," a movie that expresses the philosophy of Adobe Creative Cloud and was produced with the help of Kaibutsu, a creative team led by Tomoaki Kitani, has been released.
The movie is said to be filled with encouragement for all creators. The story is woven through dynamic expression, with the "Color Eater" as the protagonist, drawn by 10 filmmakers each with their own unique style. In the movie, the "Color Eater" transforms into various shapes as it steadily consumes all the colors in the world. Finally, after absorbing all the colors, the demon spits them out of its mouth as if suddenly released, painting the world vibrantly.
This movie was made by likening the "color-eating demon" to a "creator." It depicts how creators continue to create despite the daily anguish and loneliness they face, and is filled with the hope that "one day they will be able to produce creativity that will repaint the world." The movie also incorporates handmade scenes along with Adobe Creative Cloud applications, resulting in a work that is both cutting-edge and has a unique warmth.
In addition, to coincide with the release of the movie, a making-of video has also been released, showing the process of creating this work. It includes footage of the filmmakers working on the project and using Adobe Creative Cloud's latest mobile app, Adobe Hue CC.
