Christian Louboutin has released the "GOLDEN AGE" collection.
The collection was inspired by the 16th century Tudor dynasty, a royal family with a strong reputation for beauty. Reflecting the era of a powerful empress, the collection exudes strength and femininity.
The fabric is made from laser-cut velvet that mimics actual Tudor tapestries, with thin velvets layered on top. The colors used are full of royal attitude, including the deep crimsons "Carmin" and "Orchodoxe," the deep greens "Veronse" and "Lagune," and the regal "Purple Pop." The shoes are adorned with materials reminiscent of the regal attire of Henry and Elizabeth II, including cabochon-cut colored studs reminiscent of the colored jewels popular at the time, as well as pyramid studs, square studs, and pearls. The shoe lineup includes the "Coleslaw," a chunky heel made of Viennese-style fabric embroidered with gold thread, evoking the luxurious gold attire worn by royalty when ascending to the throne. Boots feature the brand's signature sheer design, revealing the skin underneath, and the "Dandybee Flat," featuring striking embroidery that pays homage to the Tudor dynasty. Bags include the playful "Triloubi," with spikes and ornaments in new colors, and the "Trictrac," inspired by the jewel-encrusted clothing of people seen in Tudor portraits.
