Amid growing global efforts toward sustainability, the apparel industry is also turning to secondary distribution, including secondhand clothing. With brands increasingly entering the secondary distribution market, the boundary between primary and secondary distribution is gradually becoming blurred.
This pop-up shop is a collaboration between Isetan Shinjuku, a leading player in primary distribution, and OR NOT, the only archive platform for designer brands. It offers a mix of archives and new Fall/Winter 2021 collections, showcasing OR NOT's vision for the future of the apparel industry.

Over 100 archive items from HELMUT LANG and RAF SIMONS released in the 1990s and 2000s will be on sale, mixed with Fall/Winter 2021 items from designer brands in Isetan Shinjuku.

Display byCurators
In conjunction with the pop-up shop, there will be a display exhibition of items selected by three curators from Japan and abroad. The curators will be media account RAF SIMONS ARCHIVES, stylist Ayaka Endo, and Sarah Andelman, founder of Colette and JUST AN IDEA, and the display will mix archive items with Fall/Winter 2021 items from designer brands at Isetan Shinjuku.
From July 14th to August 3rd, the three curators will be creating displays that change weekly at two art frames in International Designers East/West on the 3rd floor of the main building of Isetan Shinjuku, and from August 4th to August 10th, items selected by the three curators will be on display and for sale at Center Park/Promotion on the 3rd floor of the main building of Isetan Shinjuku.
