A pop-up shop called "APARTMENT HOTEL tac:tac" by apparel brand tac:tac and select shop APARTMENT HOTEL SHINJUKU SHOP is open at NOMADIC LIFE MARKET in Harajuku/Omotesando until October 20th.

tac:tac is a brand launched in the AW season of 2014 by designer Shimase Takaaki and pattern maker Shimamura Kodaita, with the desire to "create something that symbolically speaks to the self" and "design processes and flows." Following the first store located on the site of a former dance school in Koenji, the second store, "tac:tac / Plantation DAIKANYAMA," opened in Daikanyama in June 2016, which is still fresh in people's minds.

Meanwhile, APARTMENT HOTEL SHINJUKU SHOP is a select shop located on the 1st and B1st floors of APARTMENT HOTEL SHINJUKU, a lodging facility opened after renovating a hotel that is over 40 years old in Shinjuku 4-chome. The store mainly sells antique furniture from the 1900s to the 1990s, collected from all over Japan and repaired and renovated in a dedicated factory, as well as secondhand clothing and foreign books.

At this pop-up shop, tac:tac's Shimase Takaaki and APARTMENT HOTEL SHINJUKU SHOP director Ochi Kohei have created a nostalgic space reminiscent of a hotel room, where they will exhibit and sell items from the 2016-2017 Autumn/Winter season, as well as antique furniture and miscellaneous goods.
