Spotify releases original playlist "Liner Voice+" where you can enjoy Tokyo Incidents' songs and interviews together

Jun 9, 2021

Spotify (company name: Spotify AB / headquarters: Stockholm, Sweden), an audio streaming service used by over 356 million users worldwide, has released "Liner Voice+," a new playlist from Tokyo Jihen's new album "Ongaku," released today, as part of its "Liner Voice+" playlist series, exclusive to Spotify, which combines audio liner notes with album tracks.

In this episode of "Liner Voice+," Tokyo Incidents' Ringo Sheena talks about all 13 tracks on her new album, "Ongaku." Through a dialogue with interviewer Masaki Uchida, she explains each song, revealing exclusive anecdotes and behind-the-scenes glimpses of the album's production.

Spotify not only makes it easy to discover new favorite songs and artists through personalized listening experiences and diverse playlists, but also offers a variety of features and tools to help listeners deepen their interest and attachment to the artists they discover, such as lyrics display, singalong (a feature that lowers the vocal volume so you can sing along with the artist), in-app concert information, and Canvas (a looping video that plays alongside the music).

Albums created around a specific theme or concept are an important opportunity for fans to experience the artist's worldview. Spotify supports this by helping artists deepen the connection between them and their fans through "Liner Voice+," a service that allows artists to directly share the creative background and passion for their albums in their own voice.
