JW Anderson has released its first-ever sneakers.

They will be available for pre-sale from May 20th at JW Anderson's flagship store in London's Soho, the brand's official online store (JWAnderson.com), and online select shop HBX. They will then be rolled out at JW Anderson retailers (including Japan) from the end of June through July. This item will become a staple item for the brand going forward.


These sneakers were first unveiled in January 2021 at the Fall/Winter 2021 Men's Collection and Pre-Fall 2021 Women's Collection, photographed by Juergen Teller.


These sneakers were born from an exploration of "deconstruction," "craft," and "exaggerated proportions," which have long been key themes of the brand in its ready-to-wear and accessories collections.

With a bold silhouette crafted from a combination of leather and canvas with a thick rubber sole and a striking color lineup, these sneakers have a unique style that differs from existing sneakers.

The thick sole is inspired by the stacked brogues that were released when JW Anderson made its debut.
Sizes range from 36-42 for women and 39-45 for men (both EU sizes), and each is priced at 52,800 yen including tax.
