The second installment of the collaborative collection "THE NORTH FACE x Hender Scheme" by Hender Scheme and THE NORTH FACE has been announced. Lottery sales will begin on April 9th on the special websites of both brands. General sales are scheduled to begin on April 30th on Hender Scheme's official online shop.


This collaboration, "THE NORTH FACE x Hender Scheme," which began in the Fall/Winter 2020 season, is a project based on the theme of "things that change and things that stay the same," in which products will be released over several seasons that incorporate the contrasts shared by both brands, such as "durability and aging," "functionality and universality," and "nature and the city."


For the new Spring/Summer 2021 season, the brand will be releasing products that weave together a variety of scenes, from everyday scenery to travel and nature. This season, the lineup includes not only footwear, but also functional items such as backpacks and travel kits.

This model was born from combining the Climbing Diversity, a two-way shoe originally developed for resting and approaching climbs, with Hender Scheme's Tyrolean shoe design.


Tyrolean shoes, which have a background in mountaineering, have been given the essential outdoor features of lightweight and breathable construction, resulting in a shoe that embodies the synergy between the two brands. The mocha part of the upper incorporates the design of leather shoes by sewing leather tape with a houndstooth stitch, while the heel pull tab uses cow leather by Hender Scheme.

Another point is that the inner shoes are versatile in design and function, and can be used on their own as room shoes on the plane or in the car while traveling, or at your accommodation.

The "HS Ultra Stratum PRO" features cow leather by Hender Scheme used on the upper straps and heel part. This item is available exclusively at Hender Scheme.


It also incorporates many of The North Face's original technologies developed for outdoor use, such as the high-rebound "FASTFOAM footbed" and the high-grip "Vibram MEGA GRIP outsole."


In addition, the cow leather used for the upper changes over time, allowing you to enjoy the changes in texture as you wear it, and the way it conforms to your feet is one of the joys of this product.

Hender Scheme has redesigned The North Face's classic urban backpack, the Shuttle Daypack, which combines simple design with functionality.


The bag's distinctive, high-strength CORDURA Ballistic® nylon material is paired with leather handles for a fresh, contrasting style.

In addition, the detachable front pocket incorporates the functionality of Hender Scheme's classic backpack, and can be used as a small bag or pouch with the included strap. Pair it with The North Face's existing organizer model for functional and streamlined storage.
