UNDERCOVER, designed by Jun Takahashi, has presented its 2021-22 Fall/Winter women's and men's collections.
This season, the collection was presented in runway format as part of the "by R" project of "Rakuten Fashion Week TOKYO 2021 F/W." Applications for viewing were accepted in advance from the public, and the runway show was open to not only those involved but also those selected as winners. This marks the first time in 19 years that UNDERCOVER has held a solo show in Tokyo.
This season's theme is "CREEP VERY."
Designer Takahashi commented, "It represents the anxieties and worries we face every day, and the hope that lies beyond them. This is a worldview I created for all people in this day and age who are constantly living with conflicting emotions. It's on a different level from clothing design, but I would be honored if people could sense it."
