Nike and Kim Jones have collaborated. The Air Max 95 x Kim Jones will be released on March 19th.

Kim Jones' collaboration with Nike has continued since 2016. This year, Kim Jones is focusing on Max Air not just as an object, but as an aesthetic element. Taking one of his favorite Nike shoes, the Air Max 95, as his subject, he explored what's possible with modern technology. The result was the Nike Air Max 95 x Kim Jones collection. With a mini Swoosh on the toe and perforated upper material inspired by the Air Max 360, this new collection fuses the "tech-driven era" with the "aesthetic era." The grey upper is accented with "Total Orange," a colorway from the original Air Max 95, creating a contrasting style. The result is a shoe that is both fresh and modern, yet also exudes a certain nostalgia.


A related apparel collection will also be released. Based on Kim Jones' long-standing interest in Max Air, the collection features bold, striking logos and a mix of neutral and neon colors. Regarding the apparel, Kim Jones commented, "We made the logos disproportionately large so that they would radiate an energy that rivals the shoes themselves."


These items will be available at SNKRS, NIKELAB MA5, and DOVER STREET MARKET GINZA.
