In mid-December, Repetto will launch "Detroit," a high-end women's shoe line by international shoe designer Eugène Riconneau.
Eugène Riconneau is a shoe designer who began working in a shoemaker's workshop at the age of 13 and launched his own brand at the young age of 18. He has received such acclaim overseas that he has been compared to Manolo Blahnik.
The newly launched "Detroit" line is a complete departure from Repetto's traditional image, featuring structured pieces that accentuate femininity with the combination of studs, ostrich feathers, and leather. Of these, eight styles will be available in Japan, including "Le Vantage de Carla" (130,000 yen), "Enlace" (110,000 yen), "Tutu aux Zagues" (110,000 yen), "Piercing Rose" (99,000 yen), "Virgin Tutu" (110,000 yen), and "Le Derrière" (84,000 yen).
These styles are only available at the Ginza flagship store and the official online store.
