GU, whose brand motto is "YOUR FREEDOM - the freedom to reinvent yourself," will launch its first collaboration collection with MIHARAYASUHIRO, Japan's leading Paris Collection brand, at GU stores nationwide and online from March 5th.

Founded by Mihara Yasuhiro in 1996, MIHARAYASUHIRO is a leading Japanese brand that has participated in the Paris Collection for many years and continues to attract attention both domestically and internationally. This collaboration was made possible by the resonance between MIHARAYASUHIRO's free-thinking, unconventional style and stoic yet playful clothing, and GU's desire to allow everyone to enjoy fashion freely. The concept of this collection is "Good Inspiration." Designer Mihara commented, "The summer of 2020, when I designed this collection, was by no means a bright time for the world. But for some reason, I was reminded of myself as an art student in my 20s. I entrusted my dreams and future to my talent, and spent those days absorbed in creating art to overcome my anxieties. I am now grateful to myself back then." The collection is imbued with the desire to brighten the world with creativity. This collection combines the distinctive "MIHARAYASUHIRO" worldview, which combines remakes, asymmetrical designs, and a mix of fashion and humor, with GU's popular "chef pants" and "chef jacket," creating a lineup of products that can be enjoyed by a wide range of generations. "GUxMIHARAYASUHIRO" delivers "Good Inspiration" to everyone through fashion.

The lineup includes 33 items, including sneakers, a signature item of "MIHARAYASUHIRO," as well as GU clothing such as "chef pants," "chef jackets," and "high-performance mountain parkas," and trendy goods such as bucket hats and belts. 。 English:
