MUJI continues to reexamine the essence of things and pursue a "sensible life" through the creation of products that are the foundation of everyday life. Art is the embodiment of life itself, and it is one way of expressing the origins of life that MUJI continues to question. "MUJI CONNECTS ART" is a project that aims to realize a "sensible life," and conveys the message that people should connect with each other and with society, and incorporate art into their daily lives.

This first exhibition features original works by four artists active in Japan and abroad, produced in collaboration with lithograph studio "Idem Paris" in Paris, France. These works will be exhibited and sold at MUJI Ginza and the online store. (Limited to 100 copies each)
The appeal of lithographs lies in the fact that, thanks to the handiwork of artisans, each piece is unique, giving them a texture that is close to being a one-of-a-kind piece. While it is art that is easy to incorporate into your daily life, you can still sense the unmistakable mark of human hands.

Even as social structures and lifestyles change, art created by human hands gives us an opportunity to feel something, and at times it connects and supports people. We hope that this exhibition will be an opportunity for us living in the present to nurture the innate human will to live and connect us to a brighter future.

Idem Paris
Idem Paris, which has inherited the techniques and traditions of lithography with a history spanning more than 100 years, is a workshop that has produced works in collaboration with a wide range of artists, from the era of masters such as Matisse, Picasso, Braque, Chagall and Miro, to contemporary artists.

Participating artists
Nomata Minoru / Domoto Yumi / Paul Cox / Vayeda Brothers (in no particular order)
