Giorgio Armani Privé presented its Spring/Summer 2021 collection on the evening of January 26th Milan time.
"I wanted to show my deep affection for Milan, a city hit by the pandemic, and to give form to that feeling," said Giorgio Armani.
The Giorgio Armani Privé Spring/Summer 21 collection was held at Palazzo Orsini in Milan. This marks the first time that a Giorgio Armani Privé show has been held there.

The show was presented as part of the Paris Haute Couture collection and was streamed across various digital networks. This is not the first time Giorgio Armani Privé has presented a streaming show. In 2007, the brand's first show was livestreamed worldwide from Paris.
Giorgio Armani commented, "I was probably the first designer to present my collection in this way. Usually, shows are only open to a small number of people, but thanks to the advancement of the internet, I can now offer first-row seats to everyone who attends my show." He also said, "This pandemic has given everyone an opportunity to reflect on true beauty, and I feel that this is something people are craving right now."

About the new collection:
A dazzling display of light and color, and the pursuit of perfection. The design, which simultaneously incorporates opposing elements of "flowing lines and structured silhouettes," demonstrates the techniques of a couture atelier.
Jackets hug the body perfectly, while lavishly embroidered slip dresses are exquisitely delicate. Sensual, flowing satin tunics and voluminous crystal-covered dresses express Armani's timeless spirit. A variety of fabrics, including masculine pinstripe fabrics with gray-gold glitter highlights, satin, midnight blue organza ruffles, tulle, washed silk, and velvet, add a touch of autumn to the lightness of summer. The delicate craftsmanship of the couturier is reflected in the delicately colored floral embroidery on the tulle and the geometric necklines, which give the dresses a more formal look. The elements common to all the collections are "lightness" and "color", which express a new joy.
