Burberry will release a limited edition capsule collection, "Burberry's Future Archive." Burberry's Future Archive is a unique capsule collection designed by Chief Creative Officer Riccardo Tisci, encapsulating the essence of Burberry's signature. Each piece in this limited-edition collection is specially designed for this occasion, elevating the brand's history with a modern twist, resulting in timeless pieces. Each piece is numbered with a special edition, becoming part of Burberry's new, timeless heritage. The collection features the brand's signature outerwear, from diamond quilted coats to bomber jackets and field jackets, as well as bucket hats for both men and women. Photographed by Alessio Bolzoni and featuring models Jourdan Dunn and Adrian Chavada, the campaign visuals were shot in a contemporary space, celebrating the dual contrast of modern and timeless. The collection will be available from January 5, 2021, at the Ginza store in Japan, as well as select Burberry stores worldwide, Burberry.com, and Mytheresa. The Ginza store will have a special display for this occasion.
The diamond-quilted ramie cotton parka, available in both women's and men's, is reinterpreted with a trench-coat-inspired cotton gabardine back panel. The diamond-quilted nylon coat features a cutout hem and a trench-coat-inspired back panel, and is available in olive green and black. Both the parka and coat feature checked lining.
The diamond-quilted nylon bomber jacket, featuring a cotton gabardine back panel and a logo appliqué, is available in black and dark carbon blue. Other pieces include a black diamond quilted barn jacket for women transformed with a cotton gabardine back panel and Vintage check undercollar, and a timeless diamond quilted nylon field jacket for men reinterpreted with a trench coat-inspired cotton gabardine back panel.
