adidas Originals will release the "Pharrell Williams x NIGO® FRIENDSHIP PACK," a collaborative collection by Pharrell Williams and NIGO®, on December 18th.
The campaign images for this collection celebrate the partnership between Pharrell and NIGO® and feature iconic Tokyo landmarks.
Two items will be available: "CHANCLETAS HU" and "TOKIO SOLAR HU."
"CHANCLETAS HU" (¥12,000) Available in two colors
The "CHANCLETAS HU" has been reborn as a one-of-a-kind shoe. The model's signature adjustable padded straps feature the "Hu" logo, while the BOOST midsole features a sockliner with a debossed graphic. The Japanese words "you" and "me" are embroidered on each strap, evoking the two brands' longstanding partnership.
For this special collection, Pharrell and NIGO® created two striking colorways: a green-tinted sole with a clay brown and fresh orange upper, and a cream sole with a tinted green and bold gold upper.
``TOKIO SOLAR "HU" (¥20,000) Available in Two Colors
The "TOKIO SOLAR HU" is inspired by the "TOKIO" silhouette, an archival adidas silhouette released in 1962, and reimagines the brand's enduring sports legacy.
Incorporating the unique aesthetics of Pharrell and NIGO®, this silhouette features a PRIMEKNIT upper, suede toe box and mudguard, smooth leather eyestays, and all of its signature details, including the Three Stripes and cross heel reinforcement, all combined with a BOOST midsole.
The "Hu" logo on the sockliner, heel tab, and floral hangtag further elevate this model's unique look. It comes in two color variations, using the same color palette as the aforementioned "CHANCLETAS HU."
