A theme design featuring Vocaloid Hatsune Miku will be available on June 25th for the "Kisekae Theme" feature, which allows users to customize the smartphone version of Yahoo! Search.

In addition, Yahoo! has teamed up with "piapro," a CGM content posting site operated by Crypton, and is accepting public submissions for Hatsune Miku designs until July 14th. The selected illustration will be created as an original theme with the submitter's name and released in late August as "Hatsune Miku Piapro ver." This is the first time that Yahoo! Search has openly accepted submissions for Kisekae Themes.

Kisekae Themes is a service that allows users to change the entire page design, including the background and search button, to their preferred theme. Kisekae Themes appear based on search terms, and once a theme is set, it will continue to be displayed no matter what you search for. The lineup includes characters such as Kumamon and Funassyi, fashion brands such as Ne-net, PAUL & JOE, and MILKFED, and artists such as Lady Gaga and Perfume.
