This year, with the release of the film "The Asadas!", based on his photo book, photographer Masashi Asada has been gaining increasing attention, and a photo exhibition is being held. The exhibition will feature approximately 150 works, ranging from his most famous works to new ones, including over a dozen that appear in the film. Asada began taking photos of his entire family dressed as various characters after an assignment at vocational school to "express himself through a single photograph." When he dug deep into himself, he chose the theme of "family." After the self-isolation period this spring, everyone realized the preciousness of everyday life spent with family and friends, and asked himself, "What is family?" and "What is truly important to me?" The works in this exhibition are imbued with Asada's hope that they will inspire viewers to think about their families and themselves.

December 9th (Wed) - 21st (Mon) / 9th Floor Hankyu Umeda Gallery
