A two-person exhibition by Akira Uno and Ayako Ishiguro, "Variations," is being held. A fantasy collaboration between a master and a young artist.

Mar 17, 2017

The two-person exhibition "Variations" by Akira Uno and Ayako Ishiguro will be held at the Exhibition Space APJ booth at Art Fair Tokyo 2017, which will be held at the Tokyo International Forum from March 17th to 19th.

In this exhibition, Uno, a master of a style that conceals humor within a melancholic atmosphere, will present "Sisters," a riddle-like work themed on letters, while Ishiguro, a talented young artist popular for his paintings of fantasy creatures and cats, will present "Forest Beasts," a spirited work themed on mythical beasts. This exhibition allows you to fully enjoy the fantasy worlds of these two artists, a master and a young artist, who resonate with each other.

In addition, Uno will be in attendance in the afternoons of the 17th and 19th, and Ishiguro in the afternoon of the 19th.
