FORUM was created in 1983 by French designer Jacques Chassin, inspired by the taping used to stabilise the ankle. The shoe attracted attention as a high-performance shoe with various features to reduce stress on the feet, such as a web system in the midsole and a plastic heel counter. Worn only by select players at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics, it gained widespread recognition and went on to become an important icon not only in basketball but also in the street and cultural scenes, with collaborations with well-known sneaker shops and record labels. This special product features multiple Trefoil logos designed across the entire upper, inspired by the inner paper packed inside adidas Originals shoeboxes.
