The first collaborative capsule collection, "thmk," by Taro Horiuchi, which offers a new classic men's wardrobe, and Mame Kurogouchi, by Maiko Kurogouchi, which offers a high-quality wardrobe for modern women, has been launched. It will be on sale from November 14th.

Born from a unique aesthetic sense, shared ideas, respect for creation and friendship, "thmk" was started by the two companies, who jointly run the sewing factory "thmk," with the desire to produce high-quality uniforms that factory staff could wear on a daily basis.



This capsule collection encompasses a variety of keywords required in the work scene and includes lab coats and iconic aprons that meet the daily demands of sewing factories, with large patch pockets and pen holders, as well as blousons, long shirts, T-shirts and tote bags, all in unisex styles.





For this collaboration, Horiuchi and Kurokouchi worked together on every process, from material selection to pattern making. Their corresponding identities were sublimated into a single collection under the ideal of workwear, and this most elegant fusion of the brand DNA can be seen in the collection's logo.


The iconic logo, which combines the initials of both companies in a ligature, was designed by Tanaka Yoshihisa of the artist duo Nerhol, who also designed the th logo, and is embroidered or printed on all items.


The campaign models for this project are model Miho Shida and artist Masaho Anotani, who are close friends of both companies. The look was shot at Gallery Trax in Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture, by photographer Noda Yuichiro, who has taken many of Mame Kurogouchi's visuals, with Anotani's own works as the backdrop.
