ZOZOTOWN, a fashion shopping site operated by Start Today, has launched a same-day delivery service. Orders placed by 9am can be picked up that evening, and orders placed by 9pm can be picked up the following morning.

When they previously offered a delivery date and time specification service, around 80% of users requested the fastest possible delivery, which led to the company determining that there was a need for a same-day delivery service and so implementing it. The service is available to those who request it, as a paid service for 500 yen per order. Initially, deliveries to Tokyo, Kanagawa, Chiba, and Saitama prefectures will be available, meaning that 35% of all shipments will be eligible for same-day delivery.
