The "Spring Handsome Men's Festival" will be held until April 7th on the men's clothing floor of Seibu Ikebukuro Main Store, where sales staff will model and showcase their outfits.

The handsome sales staff from 33 brands on the store's 5th floor men's clothing floor will propose sophisticated jacket and pants styles based on the theme of "evolved traditional style + seasonal accessories." The sales staff themselves will serve as models and showcase their recommended outfits for each brand. Public voting will be held until April 3rd on a special website, mobile devices, and Twitter to determine the top handsome man.

On April 7th, a summit fashion show will be held, where the top handsome man will be determined by a fashion show in the store and a final vote from the audience on the day. In addition to the fashion show, a talk show will also be held with Takaki Toga, editor-in-chief of Men's Club magazine, and Haruo Suzuki, advisor and men's creative advisor at Ships.

Spring sales are booming for department store clothing. Given these circumstances, the store planned this event, following on from last year, as a sales promotion measure for jacket and pants styles in line with Cool Biz. During the first event held last year, sales of jackets, pants, and suits during the voting period increased significantly by 125% compared to the previous year.
